Your favorite team and why?

If you had to name just one favorite team in any sport what team would that be?

Mine the Tennessee Titans!

I love them, I've been a fan since 96 when Eddie was drafted. They're kinda in a slump but I know they'll get out of it! Watching Steve McNair play leading the team back all broke up year after year was great! Now they have Vince Young which reminds me a lot of Steve. Can't wait till the 07 season!!!

So whats yalls favorite team and why?

The New York Yankees and Kentucky Wildcats.
Both Passed down from my father, he was a catcher when he played and loved Thurman Munson and Johnny Bench. So, it just sorta filtered to me, I always have a soft spot for the Reds.

Kentucky because thats where we are from, its in your DNA unless your from the Ville lol.

NCAA Football - Miami Hurricanes...The most successful D1 football team in the past 25-30 years w/5 national titles. Some of the best fans in any sport in the world as well. Love their overall tradition as well, even the controversy.
NCAA Basketball - Duke Blue Devils...always been a fan of their style of play and Coach K's style of coaching. Once again, love the tradition.
NCAA Baseball - Canes again--4 national titles in their history--always have a few future MLB players on their roster.
NFL - San Francisco 49ers...I grew up wanting to be either John Taylor, Roger Craig, Jerry Rice, or Joe Montana. I've always loved the West Coast Offense master-minded by Bill Walsh as well.
NBA - LA Lakers...the 80's "Showtime" era, along with the Phil/Kobe/Shaq years and their style of play have always appealed to me.
MLB - Cincy Reds...I grew up wanting to emulate Barry Larkin as a baseball player. I was born after the Big Red Machine, but love to watch highlights of that team. Still root hard for them even though I don't follow baseball as close as I used to. I've also been a major Griffey Jr. fan ever since he broke into the majors w/the Mariners.
NHL - Detroit Red Wings...I guess it'd have to be because of Scotty Bowman's coaching and Steve Yzerman's greatness as a player. I admired both of their mentalities.
